Narwan Eels Gold take out pre-season Knockout | The Armidale Express




According to Narwan Gold’s winning captain Dennis Moran, the real winner of Saturday’s Narwan Eels Knockout was the community. After ploughing through a muddy and boggy Moran Oval to claim an 8-6 win over the Johnboy Quinlin Memorial team in the final, Moran hailed the event a success with hundreds coming through the gates. “At the end of the day it is all about community, it is not about us,” he said. “We are just here to put on a display for them.
