Design for playground at upgraded Chaffey Park in Manilla finally decided upon | The Northern Daily Leader

THE community has had its say on the design for a new playground at Manilla’s Chaffey Park, with option two being selected. It came out on top in a poll featuring all three proposed designs, winning 47.7 per cent of the vote, coming in above option one (39.5 per cent) and option three (12.9 per cent). The playground will include a 4m activity net, smaller climbing structure, rope spinner, four-bay swing, car rocker, gears panel and play hut as well as a playpark system including a step bridge and two slides. After further consultation with the community, it has also been decided two disability access swings will be added to improve its inclusivity.
