Local Anzac Day services will go ahead this year after COVID-19 cancelled formal gatherings in 2020, but there will be less of the pomp and ceremony of previous commemorative events. The Anzac Day Dawn Service will commence in Central Park at the Memorial Fountain at 5:50 am. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no dawn service march. The main commemoration service will begin at 11:00 am in Central Park, followed by a wreath-laying service. Those people or organisations wishing to lay a wreath will assemble on the path south-east of the cenotaph and will come forward when requested.
